About us
AEROTOURS' story of success began in 2000 when it was spun off the flight training school "Flugschule PEGASUS", which has been existing since 1994. AEROTOURS was founded with the aim to establish an independent flying training organization.
Initially, AEROTOURS GmbH acted under the official license of civil aviation authorities of Brandenburg. Due to the implementation of JAR-OPS everybody quickly realized that the company has to continue growing.
From then on, as a consequence the company has been operated under the official license - the AOC (Air Operators Certificate) of the German Federal Office of Civil Aviation (LBA). Ever since, AEROTOURS is regularly performing flights from the airport Strausberg to destinations within Germany and countries all over Europe.
The operating license includes passenger, freight and mail flight services according to the current valid legal basis of EU-OPS whereby AEROTOURS has special know-how in the area of dangerous goods and freight.
The requirements as well as the many requests by our student pilots, who were educated to private pilots by "Flugschule Pegasus", opened the door for the start of the approval process to become a Flying Training Organization. Now many licenses can be trained - from flight instructor to Airline Transport Pilot - in Strausberg's one and only commercial and professional pilot training school.
Our leitmotif is the same as ever: offering of training at reasonable prices and high quality. AEROTOURS as a brand has been registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office "GPTO" since its foundation in 2000. A new flight training device FNPT II MCC in glass cockpit configuration and the opportunity to train First Aid courses in our school complete the offering of our professional Flying Training Organization.

Foundation ATO

Foundation of the AEROTOURS GmbH for the purpose of establishing as an ATO (Approved Training Organisation) from LAPL(A) until ATPL(A).
Quality management

Executed a voluntary DIN ISO 9001:2008 and AZAV certification to guarantee and maintain high quality and standards.
Distance learning
2015
AEROTOURS ATO became an independet distance learning training organization with partnership to Boeing eAcademy training software.
Foundation Ultralight Flightschool
2015
Foundation of the Flugschule PEGASUS GmbH as ultralight flight training school approved by the DAeC
Cooperation with University of Applied Sciences Eberswalde

Established a cooperation for the bachelor study programme business administration with combined ATPL(A) integrated course
